Booking terms

What a confirmed booking includes

Every confirmation lists two things side by side: what novcantrix.com has already paid for or reserved on your behalf, and what stays with you to arrange on the day. Read both columns before you travel.

Included in the confirmed price

  • Intercity transport. Reserved seats between cities by the mode and departure time printed on your day rows.
  • Landmark tickets. Entries marked "included" are pre-purchased and held under your lead passenger name.
  • Route coordinator. One named coordinator per booking, reachable by phone and email from arrival to final departure.
  • Daily briefing. Morning note with platform, gate, walking distance and the day's meeting point.
  • Arrival and departure transfers. Station to hotel on the first and last day of the route.

Not included

  • Optional entries. Landmarks marked "optional" on a day row are paid on site or added before departure.
  • Meals. Breakfast is stated per hotel; all other meals are your own.
  • City transport. Metro, tram and taxi inside a city are not part of the route price.
  • Travel insurance. Required for the trip and arranged by you.
  • Personal spending. Baggage fees, souvenirs and anything not listed in the left column.

Itinerary questions

Short answers on how we price a route, how groups are sized, and what happens when weather, traffic or border rules change a plan. If your question is not here, send it with the request form on the itineraries page.

Travellers with luggage boarding a regional train at a European station platform

Every route shows a price from, per person, based on double occupancy. That figure covers the intercity legs listed for the route, hotel nights, and the landmark tickets marked as included on each day row. Optional entries, meals not listed, and city transport outside the itinerary are paid directly by you.

It means two travellers share a twin or double room. Booking as a single traveller adds a single supplement, which is quoted separately on the request form. If you travel with a companion, one room for the whole route, no room changes unless a town has no twin availability.

Between 8 and 16 travellers per departure, with a group leader from the first station to the last. Rail legs are seated by operator class, so the group may sit apart on the Prague to Vienna service, 4 hours by rail, and similar long-distance trains.

Itineraries may change due to weather, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. When a leg is affected, we notify you by email or at the hotel desk at least 12 hours before departure and offer the nearest equivalent visit, keeping the same transport mode and class where the operator can seat the group.

Travel insurance is not part of the route price and stays your responsibility. Our Kyiv office checks passport validity, visa and entry requirements for every country on your itinerary before departure and sends you a written checklist at booking.

Yes, up to 21 days before the first departure, subject to seat and room availability on the replacement legs. Each change is confirmed in writing with the new transport mode, time and any price difference. Terms are set out in our cancellation and refund policy.
